Feedback from New Page Review process

[edit]

I left the following feedback for the creator/future reviewers while reviewing this article: Generally good article. Some thoughts:

  • Sources were not consolidated (using multiple distinct {{cite}} for the same citation)
  • date of birth is unsourced
  • Date of death appears incorrect. It was 12 September. Articles say it is 8 September. I changed it. (edited 10:19, 7 September 2025 (UTC))
  • could wikilink more of the bands in the Career section after the lead

I'm willing to submit into the public domain photos of performances/portrait I took personally, and can corroborate knowing, and a few times playing with, Robin for over thirty years.

I could add to a domain that's very old and previously verifiable WHO IS data if that helps (ICANN/Nominet). Accept that's self publishing but I'm not going to be deepfaking my friend with GPS co-ords and untampered metadata.

Re. date of birth can possibly cite this from the family somehow as I have access to the personal obituaries and tributes but won't reproduce obviously private data. I can get a citation and public upvote from verified account (Meta) family though. I'll check the talk page here sometime in the future as this is a new article. Thank you for the writer and the reviewer publishing this. RIP Robin. I've still got your snare.

I also have a couple of signed EPS from Rachael Stamp and another band ("Cons"/Sacktrick), the list is so extensive I'd have to cite Wayback machine for Robin's own Geocities or similar, actually I think he was on Dreamhost and once asked me to help clean up his guestbook) if that helps, or is some way illustrative of that band which was always dear to Robin and played unto death.
There are also shots of film back with the family, and on the farm in Chiddingly. Pre-Ragdolls. 147.147.138.117 (talk) 22:19, 18 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
