How to recover a lost draft in Sandbox
[edit]I started an article about Robert Shenk in the Sandbox the last couple of days and in the process of trying to find out how to remove extra lines i lost the draft. Please let me know how to recover the article. Thank you Rizos01 (talk) 15:56, 1 July 2026 (UTC)
Suggestions before submission
[edit]Hi. I'm not a page reviewer, but I came across your draft. It looks like there are a couple of changes that could be made to improve reliability.
There are currently no inline citations, which can make it difficult to check details. Some of these references, like LinkedIn, are user generated and are not considered reliable.
By the way, AfC is currently experiencing a three month backlog, meaning that you may need to wait at least three months after submitting for someone to review the page. SenshiSun (talk) 05:09, 7 July 2026 (UTC)
"Dr. Shenk"
[edit]Wikipedia does not use titles of honor such as "Dr." on people's names, which means each and every instance of "Dr. Shenk" and "Dr. Robert Shenk" needs to be replaced. In essence, there are only three possible things to call him in the article: "Robert Shenk" (generally used the first time only), "Shenk", or "he".
(A fourth way, just "Robert", could be used if necessary, but only in a sentence where it's necessary to temporarily distinguish him from his father or other family members.) TooManyFingers (he/him · talk) 20:44, 25 July 2026 (UTC)

Comment: If the subject is an emeritus professor, then he meets the requirements for WP:NPROF. The main issues with this draft are tone. Not being written neutrally and in encyclopedic language is an automatic decline and this draft is written like a resume. Mme Maigret (talk) 03:55, 26 July 2026 (UTC)
Comment: Most sources here are either trivial or people directories and don't go to show the notability of the person Zippybonzo | talk | contribs (they/them) 21:23, 8 July 2026 (UTC)
Comment: Linkedin.com and assorted profiles are not suitable sources. Theroadislong (talk) 12:15, 7 July 2026 (UTC)
