Facts about Robert Henderson Croll's life have been included in the article. Surely "facts", such as dates and activities, cannot be subject to copyright. Where facts have been gleaned from the source specified in the bot, they have been acknowledged with a reference. I do not believe that I have used copyright material and have removed the notice. --Collywolly (talk) 20:02, 9 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Collywolly, it's not the facts that are a potential problem here, it's the way they are expressed. Here's an example comparison of a couple of sentences from our article with the same material in the source:
Our articleThe source
Croll was an keen bushwalker who claimed to have carried his swag for about 5000 km and to have gone at least as far on short walks. He was an office-bearer of the Melbourne Walking Club for about fifty years. He was an enthusiastic bushwalker who eventually claimed to have carried his swag for about 3000 miles (4800 km), to have tramped at least as far on short trips, and to have been an office-bearer of the Melbourne Walking Club for fifty years.
Some words have been changed ("keen" instead of "enthusiastic", "gone" instead of "tramped"), but the overall "feel" is unduly close. I've listed the page at WP:CP for review and evaluation. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 19:17, 21 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
