Talk about understatement! This unsourced and somewhat glib paragraph makes it sound like basically an obscure turkey of a movie that only Stephen King and a bunch of Cannes judges liked. In reality, in the horror canon, it's surely at least as high-profile as The Exorcist or anything of that ilk; ask any horror fan to reel off 10 significant horror movies, and The Evil Dead is more likely than not to be in that ten. 217.155.20.163 (talk) 01:01, 26 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
