Match darts

The article refers to Cross "surviving" various numbers of "match darts" against different darts players. I didn't find this term in the Glossary of darts article. What does it mean to "survive X match darts"? 2601:644:1:B7CB:18E3:252B:AD99:EB5A (talk) 07:20, 2 January 2018 (UTC)

Further comment -- It appears from a little Googling that this phrase means Cross's opponent missed a dart throw that could have won the match (meaning a loss for Cross). Rob Cross is currently a disambiguation page for one other page - pageview stats (which I cannot link for some reason) find that this Rob Cross receives consistently 100x more pageviews than the basketball Rob Cross, which often only gets 20 pageviews a month. ser! ^{(chat to me - see my edits)} 14:13, 17 October 2024 (UTC)
