Language tightened
[edit]The main purpose of mods was to get it to mesh with the Wiki "Cruise Ship" article.
Removed redundant verbiage, as well as several incorrect statements, uncited, or inexact statements "the countryside is always in view", "The most popular river cruises include...", "can go where no other transportation can", etc.

[edit]I added a short update to reflect the current state of the river cruise industry, as the previous references were mainly older print sources (2006) or regional. The new citation is informational, non-promotional, and provides broader global coverage. The intention of the edit was to improve accuracy and bring the section up to date, not to introduce marketing content. Cclaudiu47 (talk) 17:31, 27 November 2025 (UTC)
