Puff piece
[edit]Recent changes have left this piece lookign a little unencyclopedic, I'm about to go through the article and remove some of the excessive flattery. This is not because I don't think the organisation does good work but I thought I'd leave a note here. I may miss comments so please use the {{tping}} template to contact me. Edits to page
[edit]Hello, I tried making changes yesterday and noticed all edits were reverted. Changes made were to update/adjust details that are listed more accurately and outdated information such as Rise Against Hunger's mission statement. - AWhitmer, please read Wikipedia:Avoid mission statements. Wikipedia articles about an organization should be based primarily on summarizing what published reliable sources that are entirely independent of the group say about the group. Rise Against Hunger is an international humanitarian nonprofit that coordinates the packaging and distribution of food and other aid to people in developing nations. Driven by the vision of a world without hunger, Rise Against Hunger is growing a global movement to end hunger by empowering communities, nourishing lives and responding to emergencies.
- Why it should be changed: Missing information about other pathways that end global hunger.
