design zones: where are they?

[edit]

The Design section lists four zones, but gives few hints as to locations. Is Zone 3 closest to the stream, or farthest? Do the zones alternate like stripes as you travel downstream? Or, do they vary in width as you go downstream? Do they overlap? I would imagine trees overhang the streambed. It does give an indication that the streambed "is linked closely to Zone 1", but being linked doesn't mean anything, geometrically. OsamaBinLogin (talk) 15:31, 6 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Long Term Payments

[edit]

In the section "Long-term sustainability", the phrase "receive payments" implies that some government or agency actually pays money to the farmers for maintaining the riparian buffer. My guess is that it should say "receive benefits". OsamaBinLogin (talk) 15:41, 6 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
