Apple Records discography – Needs British LPs and singles, and US LPs. Needs restructuring. I'd propose using the Brit catalog as the basis, and having only those releases which are different in the US section. This might not be practical, however, if the cat. no.s are different (they are for the singles, not sure for the albums). Blue links need to be checked for and, if they aren't already, added to Category:Apple Records singles or Category:Apple Records albums, and the same for The Beatles/solo members singles/albums categories.
Add specific fair use rationales to Beatles-related copyrighted images, especially singles covers (see Image:In My Life - The Beatles.jpg, for example).
Improve all released Beatles songs and covers to C-class, at least.

Technically the statement is inaccurate, depending on how you define "member". Jimmie Nicol was a temporary member, is still alive, and is older than Ringo. I suggest simply stating that he was the oldest member of the classic lineup that included Ringo, McCartney, Lennon, and Harrison. That gets rid of the awkward phrasing as well as any possible inaccuracy, and it avoids having to rewrite if McCartney outlives Ringo. Alternatively, we could simply delete the sentence. Ringo Starr's full was Richard Henry Parkin Starkey, Jr., even though it's not listed on Wikipedia. Ringo's father was also called Richard, so that's why Ringo received Jr. on his last name. Neoogai (talk) 16:42, 8 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
Are you suggesting a change to the article? If so, you need to provide a reliable source that verfies the change. I googled the name "Richard Henry Parkin Starkey, Jr." and got nothing except unreliable sources such as Reddit and personal websites. It could be gleave too possibly, but I have some evidence that it might be that https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/143201927/richard_henry_parkin-starkey considering his fathers name was Richard too, he could be a jr, and also, his mothers maiden name was gleave, and also, on find a grave it says “ Father of former Beatle, Richard "Ringo Starr" Starkey, Jr.” that verifies the jr claim. Not done Findagrave and discussions by users in Google groups are not a reliable sources. Anyone can edit them. See WP:UGC and especially see WP:RS before citing other sources. I could post a message in a Google group claiming that his name was John Doe, but that doesn't make it true. Not to mention that the Findagrave site doesn't have anything about Ringo's full name. For what it worth, the “Jr.” designation would only be appropriate if Richard the Father’s full name had the same to middle names as Ringo. I share first and last name with my father, but have different middle names name, so I’m not sure Junior. Wschart (talk) 17:42, 9 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
