This whole article seems to be written from a pro-Rico Oller point of view. For example, why is proposing abolishing Smog Check II a strong environmental record?

This is a fair and accurate bio. Smog Check II, at the time, was a major issue, and Assemblyman did recieve quite a bit of press from his efforts. As a republican in a democrat dominated legislative body, major legislative accomplishments are not easy to come by.
