Suggesting a Political Positions split

Suggesting that we split Scott's political positions into a new article, Political positions of Rick Scott. The Governorship section, which is by far the largest in the article, is dominated size-wise by Scott's political positions. Requesting opinions before going through with it. Fraudster descriptor

In the first sentence, I added "fraudster" to the list of descriptors for Scott. This was reverted by another user, saying that such a contentious change requires consensus on the Talk page. I'm not sure I understand why this would be contentious. As the article suggests in the next paragraph (and in more detail later), Scott oversaw what was at the time the largest Medicare fraud in US History. All this was litigated in court. I'm just seeing this now. Per MOS:LABEL we need to be clear; is he labelled a "fraudster" by the article, or indeed any sources in the article? Was he ever found liable or guilty of fraud? If not, it probably shouldn't be put in the lead. — ser! ^{(chat to me - see my edits)} 20:26, 8 September 2026 (UTC)

Relevant section of the article: Rick Scott#Fraud investigation and settlement. The company he was CEO of carried the largest medicare fraud in US History (at the time) and was found civilly liable in numerous suits (to the tune of $2 billion). I guess you could argue he wasn't personally sued, but I find it utterly ridiculous to claim that he isn't responsible for fraud as CEO of the company that was doing the fraud. Thoughts?
