It's March 2022 - and I'm removing the question notability flag/template thing that's been sitting on this article since 2014 because:
1) I've added a few more books citing Nevin's work - and there are (literally) dozens more. See for example:

2) The template has been in place since 2014 but no talk page discussion has been started and no-one has (apparently) taken any other action to advance this (deletion, redirection, or whatever). So it should be resolved one way or another?
3) I work in this broad area (environmental chemistry) and I was familiar with Nevin's work. My own feeling is that Nevin's work is notable: it has been widely reported/mentioned. However, there is a question whether an article about him is sufficiently "meaty" to stand alone. There is also an article on lead-crime hypothesis, which references his work; however, from memory, I don't think his work was purely confined to crime - I think he also correlated lead exposure to things like teenage pregnancies and other social effects, so simply redirecting him onto that article might not be appropriate. Another factor is that Nevin isn't the only person to have made connections between lead and adverse social impacts (there was also e.g. Kim Dietrich, John Paul Wright). 45154james (talk) 09:55, 3 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
