wrong logaritmic base in first explaination
[edit]first says it uses common logaritmic scale (base of 10), but later says it uses a 10^(3/2) logaritmic base. 2A02:14F:1FD:A95F:0:0:1D71:9F4D (talk) 07:17, 4 November 2025 (UTC)
May I point out
[edit]The Richter scale stops not at 9.9 or even at ten, but doth continue going! A 12 would likely eradicate a few species and shift the earth’s rotation dramatically. A 15 would likely kill all humans. A 20 might create a new moon. Wikipedian12512 (talk) 02:29, 6 May 2026 (UTC)
