Richard Warren's ancestry and the identity of his wife

According to the following sources, Richard Warren, Mayflower pilgrim, was the son of Christopher Warren and Alice Webb, and that his wife's name was Elizabeth Marsh/Maych/Ivatt/Juatt. These sources further state that Richard Warren was descended from William de Warenne, 1st Earl of Surrey and Gundreda, who is listed as a daughter of William the Conqueror and Matilda of Flanders.

Link to/from the "Anne" ?

Someone included a link from the "Anne", one of the early ships that came to Plymouth Plantation. That's a good idea (if anyone will ever write an article on the Anne). The question I have is: should the quotation marks be part of the link? If not, then it links to "Anna", but if so, should Mayflower have quotes?

Some have Richard Warren as christened 24 Jan 1580 at St Peter Cornhil, London, England and then his ancestors are given at this link

AND that line does carry one back to Charlemagne and Royal lines of William Conqueror.

Errata: Joseph Warren was not Richard Warren's descendant. His ancestor shares a common ancestor with Richard Warren. Richard Warren's patriot descendent is Colonel (later Paymaster-General of the Continental Army) James Warren of Plymouth. Warren was a leading Massachusetts patriot, President of the Massachusetts Provincial Congress -after Joseph Warren's death at Bunker Hill- and perhaps most importantly, husband of Mercy Otis Warren, 'muse of the Revolution'. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.76.245.68 (talk) 20:01, 7 July 2024 (UTC)
