I read somewhere that Sir John Summerson went to Riber when it was a boys’ school, in the 1910s-20s? Apparently, it brought on his lifelong dislike of Gothic Revival architecture. His article lists Harrow. Was Riber a boarding prep? I shall look for a source. KJP1 (talk) 15:45, 28 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

With the latest unsourced edit, this article seems to be heading into contentious territory. The original source for the deleted material doesn't look like a reliable source either. Anyone know a reliable source for the alleged mistreatment of the animals? Or might it be better to delete the whole section after "sold by the owner."?
