It's a bit of an overstatement to say "Break or I'll Break Your Face" would be at home on the Beastie Boys record. Notwithstanding the rather limited pallette the band works with, the unimaginative lyrics, one is hardcore masquerading as a sort of funk while the Beastie Boys were a mixture of pop, rap and heavy metal.
Notability

Their allmusic.com entry begins "Rising out of the dust of El Paso, TX, in 1983, the Rhythm Pigs ground through a whole crop of shows across the U.S. and Europe in the mid-'80s, which helped build on the regional notoriety..." - WP:MUSIC #5. "Has released two or more albums on a major label or one of the more important indie labels (i.e. an independent label with a history of more than a few years and a roster of performers, many of which are notable)." Their label Mordam Records which released their first two albums, has also released albums by Faith No More, Negativland, and Victim's Family..
