Mexico's recent federal legislation on revenge porn
[edit]Could somebody update the article to reflect Mexico's recent federal legislation on revenge porn? it is called "Olimpia" Law. Globalize template
[edit]I've put Globalize template because article mostly focuses on common law countries while largely ignoring countries with civil law, sharia law and other legal systems. --Тежава (talk) 22:04, 2 January 2022 (UTC)
add article hyperlink
[edit]I'm not sure how to do this myself, but someone should make "date rape drugs" (at the top paragraph) link to "Date rape drug;" another Wikipedia article. 2601:4C0:8100:12D0:9536:C625:C8E:3127 (talk) 22:04, 22 December 2022 (UTC)
Alternative page names for "revenge porn"
[edit]I wonder if there are any opinions on updating the title to this article to more current terminology? For example, Non consensual Intimate Images (NCII) or "Non consensual Pornography"? - in recent years with legislation and initiatives to address it, the narrative has grown to include non-revenge and AI based scenarios. 37.218.243.19 (talk) 07:51, 26 September 2025 (UTC)
- I agree, "non-consensual intimate imagery" encompasses more than revenge porn. Scenarios concerning AI deepfakes, and compromised IoT cameras do not necessarily encompass the element of retaliation that the phrase "revenge porn" entails. ThroughFence (talk) 07:31, 2 January 2026 (UTC)
Another meaning of revenge porn
[edit]It's also the specific kind of stories, not actually related to any "adult media", but where the main plotline is revenge. ~2026-40353-08 (talk) 10:39, 17 July 2026 (UTC)
