Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... RespectAbility serves as an advocacy organization for individuals with disabilities both in terms of the workplace and policy development. In addition, the RespectAbility Report disseminates important political pieces, statistics, and other information, as it pertains to individuals with disabilities. In this way, it is very much like newspaper or blog, the type of periodical that is relevant for inclusion in Wikipedia. Furthermore, RespectAbility has been very active in the 2016 Presidential election and has brought awareness on the part of the candidates toward disability issues and development of their own policies.--RockNWrite82 (talk) 21:52, 16 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Controversy?

[edit]

This section appears quite tabloid in nature and WP:NOT WP:NOTNEWS. Maybe close to 10 years ago it was a big deal but now it seems utterly trivial. Anyone else have an opinion on this? PlainJane91 (talk) 12:55, 25 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

Going to delete this as its uncontested PlainJane91 (talk) 10:28, 3 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

Update

[edit]

Looking at it more closely, a number of the references don't work anymore. This page needs to be brought into 2025. PlainJane91 (talk) 12:57, 25 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

Disability Belongs

[edit]

They actually changed their name to this. Should the name of the article be changed accordingly? PlainJane91 (talk) 11:16, 3 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
