William White and his associations with Leiden
[edit]1) William White was the paternal half-uncle of Bradford's wife Dorothy; her father being his older half-brother Henry May.
2) He emigrated to Holland along with his older half-siblings Henry May and Jacomine May, all three of whom were the children of Thomasine (Cross) (May) White.
3) He married Susanna Jackson in Leiden.
4) Susanna Jackson was baptized in Scrooby, the parish where Brewster was from and near the parish, Austerfield, where Bradford originated. Her parents were Richard and Mary Jackson.
5) Resolved White was baptized in Leiden.
I have provided you with the clues, perhaps you can locate the documentation/citations: after all it is YOUR article.
Keep in mind that Bradford also described Mary More as the nameless brother of Richard More: "and his brother." Bradford was having some memory issues in his later years, so perhaps he is not the best source, despite White being a relative by marriage! ~2026-19867-58 (talk) 14:44, 30 March 2026 (UTC)
