[edit]This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because the violation is easily remedied (I have done so), and there is topic is potentially worth covering. --Klbrain (talk) 22:27, 27 February 2024 (UTC)
- This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, as the Resilience Week event is not owned by TechConnect but started by myself in 2008 through Idaho National Laboratory (US govt) and only co-located with TechConnect through an MOU (that I developed and got signed with them). - @Crieger: Thanks for transparently adding some context to your relationship to this event. That does present a conflict of interest, so it would be great if you could read something conflict of interest editing. It's a tricky balance, as we all know that those closest to subjects are also the most knowledgeable about them! So, please do continue to contribute, bearing in mind the COI guidelines. Contested deletion
[edit]This page is not unambiguously promotional, because this long running engagement (15+ years) was uniquely designed to develop the interdisciplinary, scientific communications language to effectively achieve critical infrastructure resilience. Bridging the communications between disciplines, practitioner and researcher is extremely difficult but critical to yield effective answers to resilience. This effort started before resilience was even defined and is still a point of discussion, and the website provides the background to achieve these conversations and the topics that help align the conversations to achieve improved resilience. The establishment of interdisciplinary structures provide a fundamental basis for discussions outside of this event and the refinement of resilience science, which is still in its fledgling state. --Crieger (talk) 19:01, 31 May 2024 (UTC)
