The Arabic-script on the image in this article's infobox reads مبعوثی رشیده خانم, but I am unsure if this is Uyghur, Tatar, or a different language. I am also aware Khanum (خانم) could just mean "Mrs." in this context, and مبعوثی could be a patronymic, surname or title (envoy?). Yue🌙 05:17, 25 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

One of the reasons I started the article with the current title is that, as you say, Khanum does not appear to be a name, nor does the last bit – which could be related to the fact she worked as a consul? Number 5 7 01:24, 26 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
