Piano Quintet (Schnittke)

Another example of an 'instrumental Reqiuem' is Schnittke's Piano Quintet / In Memoriam. This is from its page:

"According to the sketches, he initially conceived of the work as "an instrumental requiem", with each of its five movements corresponding to the Introit, Kyrie eleison, Dies irae, Benedictus, and Agnus Dei of the Requiem Mass.".

"Notable" compositions

This sections seems to be slowly becoming a contradiction of itself. Just because a composer wrote a requiem doesn't make it "notable". Not to insult any composer or their work, but seriously, when was the last time João Domingos Bomtempo's Requiem was even performed? or Friedrich Kiel or François Giroust? These names should simply be included on the Music for the Requiem Mass page under Other composers period sections respectively. Even the Notable compositions on that Music page only lists half a dozen, while this page now lists nearly 50. It should be scrubbed to only include either what is listed on the Music page, or at the very least only include those names that have a WP article on the Requiem itself.
