A previous article on a slightly different topic at this title was deleted; the content of this article at the time of its deletion was:

Republican Jesus is a popular series of cartoons posted on the internet and available here. Most of the cartoons show Jesus as a Republican in a blue suit with a white shirt and a red tie, standing in front of the White House or the Capitol building, sarcastically misquoting the Bible and praising Republicans for doing things like cutting off food for the homeless, or supporting torture.

The referenced website no longer appears to be active. BD2412 T 18:11, 25 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Dozens of captures of that URL are available at the Internet Archive, but it doesn't appear to be a very good source compared to what's already in the article. --‿Ꞅtruthious 𝔹andersnatch ͡ || 04:23, 26 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
BD2412, I wasn't aware, do you think that should be added as a section? Guy (help! - typo?) 08:10, 26 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
Having poked around a bit, I can find no indication that the cartoons were noteworthy, or referenced by any sources. BD2412 T 17:21, 26 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

MAGA Jesus

[edit]

The press sometimes talks about MAGA Jesus.[1] Is that the same as Republican Jesus? If so, should we add a redirect from the former to the latter? 01:15, 20 April 2026 (UTC)

I've boldly added MAGA Jesus to the article. —Quantling (talk | contribs) 19:08, 28 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
