Moto-e

Thanks for a good start here. Perhaps, many people (like myself) want to find out additional details. (But we are not an ad website--we can avoid that). Since I may want to keep up with my wife and daughters who have either Moto-G or Moto-X phones, I'm considering what to do. For the article here, I see online info saying 'Moto-e' is available and I don't know how it fits in. Comments? -- Charles Edwin Shipp (talk) 09:35, 3 December 2014 (UTC) -- Someone more knowledgeable could add Moto-e to the article.

Announced in May, 2014, the Moto-E (branded 'Moto e') is: "Bottom Line: Motorola’s Moto E is a smartphone shaved down to the basics, but all of the basics have been done properly. Lot's of shiny reviews... A Moto section, or the existing Hybrid Calling section, should include some downsides, like the fact that "because the devices must be significantly modified to access seamless voice service on both Wi-fi and cellular networks, they will only work on Republic Wireless' network." Experiences with Moto-E

Some updates needed.

Within the last few months, there have been some changes that need adding. For one, RW is now selling the Moto X 2nd Gen. phone (16Gb) for $299. (It had previously been sold at $399; the Moto X 1st Gen. was at $299: The latter may no longer be available.) Also, they have a new "Refund" plan at around $17.50 (taxes adds about $1.50/month). Lacking Fairness and Balance

This reads more like a PR piece than a Wikipedia article. No mention of the major problems that continue to plague their network and devices (and their reluctance to admit to them) nor the slow, unresponsive, and unknowledgeable support, excruciatingly slow Android OS update process, and buggy, carrier-locked phones.
