DAB vs SIA

There was talk at RfD about whether this should be a dab page or WP:SIA. SIA has a couple advantages that may be worth revisiting. The article would have a more defined scope that would more clearly exclude partial title matches such as corporations with "Renewable" in the name. It would also be valid to link renewable and renewables from articles. This would make the task of reviewing and correcting incoming links simpler, if not eliminating the need entirely. Given that the terminology is ambiguous but typically refers to one or more of the related topics listed on this page, "correcting" these dab links may change the meaning of the text or require listing multiple topics where "renewable(s)" works just fine. Just a thought and perhaps something to consider down the line and keep an eye on, if there's no appetite to change this now. —Myceteae‍🍄‍🟫 (talk) 00:42, 25 March 2026 (UTC)
