Name Change

[edit]

Renee Perry remarried in the series finale which changes her name to Renee Faulkner. They should change the page name to Renee Faulkner instead of Renee Perry. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.236.233.16 (talk) 22:12, 17 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

She also said to Ben in episode "Lost My Power": I know this might surprise you, but I actually have a few moves saved up for my first night as Mrs. Ben Faulkner.. It means that it was annouced, that she want to change her last name after wedding. Michu1945 (talk) 11:25, 19 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Stop performing this changes. First of all, before performing such a move, you should have started a discussion to gain consensus. Second, the character is addressed as Renee Perry for her entire time during the series, except in the last minutes when she gets married to Ben (and I don't even remember anyone calling her Renee Faulkner during the wedding). She calling herself "Mrs. Ben Faulkner" is not enough to perform a move, that is in-universe. --LoЯd ۞pεth 00:01, 21 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Also note that as a social convention a woman calling herself Mrs. <husbands full name> just means she is married to <husbands full name>. It does not mean she changed her legal name. You would need a mention of <her first name> <new last name> to make that claim. Geraldo Perez (talk) 04:52, 11 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
