NPOV problems
[edit]It should be obvious that Wikipedia is not the place for making sales pitches for Saab or anyone else.

Any disadvantages for employees?
[edit]Will many air traffic controller employees be fired, because less employees will be needed?
Do air traffic controllers have any windows to outdoors, so they only spend time in a windowless room, which must not be healthy?
I understood from photos they have 360 degree monitors without any opportunity to outside world to relax eyes.
Western Sydney Airport plans
[edit]Airservices Australia plans to launch the Western Sydney Nancy Bird Walton Airport (WSI) with a digital air traffic control service. It was announced on the 5th of March 2024, and more information about the subject can be found on this media release by Airservices Australia. This news seems to be relevant to the topic and article of the Remote and virtual tower. I have posted this to bring awareness about it as I do not have the skills for properly writing on Wikipedia. ATC vs FSS
[edit]The article should better clarify the role of the digital tower. Some digital towers are for Flight Service Station (FSS), like the case in Bodo, Norway. FSS provides weather and trafic information but does not provide flight clearances, the pilot is responsible to manage separation. Whereas London City digital tower if for ATC. ATC provides clearances. The level of authority is different between the two and would help to better understand when it's FSS vs ATC. Thanks! About28 (talk) 01:33, 31 August 2026 (UTC)
