The reload4j fork is just another fork. There is several others on GitHub which aim to do the same. Why is this one more notable? IMHO it is also lacking the point of view from the log4j 2 team. If notable, it should also be mentioned that the whole project is basically driven by a single developer, and not a "huge group" of volunteers, as the article suggests.
