I have deleted references to 'minorities' from the text on the Dutch enlightened rulers. One of the interesting aspects, until this day, is that in The Netherlands the state religion used to be protestant, whereas the majority was of the Catholic faith.

This article does a horrible job on explaining Mormons

[edit]

Why are Mormons mentioned how they are? The article makes is seam that Mormons started in the US, did polygamy, then cried to the supreme court. This is a horrible way to describe discrimination of Mormon, yes this hempen, the article does not touch or mention the Mormons wars and massacre that lead to the deaths of hundreds of Mormons. Mormons experienced a lot of discrimination in the United States and were run out of towns. It was not federal discrimination but it can still be added to this article. There are reliable sources for it. They would need to be added to the article. Plures caeli (talk) 10:53, 13 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Now it seems like the section is completely removed. This should not have happened. This is incredibly relevant because they sought redress from the federal government and were denied. Jinventor (talk) 14:56, 7 March 2025 (UTC)Reply
I tentatively support some responsible edits that are supported by evidence. I have only read about it very casually. What I have seen so far generally supports inclusion. I can't comment on a specific removal of text that I haven't seen. Plures caeli (talk) 13:56, 15 March 2025 (UTC)Reply
