Basic idea

This article should have an introduction to the basic idea (groups acting on themselves) before introducing more advanced structures. It links to the article on group algebras saying, "The article on group algebras articulates the regular representation for finite groups", but the article (at least no longer) has any such information. I think it sort of tries to do this (group acting on itself), but it does so in a pretty huffy way. Do you mean that there should be a section before the first section, or that the first section should be improved? JackSchmidt (talk) 18:11, 24 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Perhaps a little bit of both. The first two sentences of the (current) first section should be revamped into a new first section, thoroughly defined rather than mentioned in passing. I'll try to do this later tonight or maybe tomorrow. Rghthndsd (talk) 21:38, 2 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
