Semi protected edit request 2020-12-19
[edit]Critical Reception section has a quote from an IGN review calling the show 'irrelevant' - this is meant to be 'irreverent'. Source for this correction is the same source used for the quote in the first place — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.111.193.67 (talk) 04:22, 19 December 2020 (UTC)

Different Article Request
[edit]The Naive man from Lolliland and 2 in the AM PM, should maybe have their own articles. I mean, like how it's done with Grindhouse, like these two part of their own article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.73.225.167 (talk) 07:22, 22 October 2021 (UTC)

Premise
[edit]The series revolves around the daily lives of two 23-year-old[3] friends – Mordecai (voiced by J. G. Quintel) and Rigby (William Salyers) – who work as groundskeepers at a park and spend their days slacking off and avoiding work to entertain themselves by any means, which unexpectedly leads to surreal, extreme, and supernatural misconduct. This is much to the chagrin of their boss Benson (Sam Marin) and their coworker Skips (Mark Hamill), but to the delight of Pops (Marin), the son of the park's owner, Mr. Maellard (David Ogden Stiers). Their other coworkers include an overweight green male named Muscle Man (Marin) and a ghost named Hi-Five Ghost (Quintel), who occasionally serve as their rivals.

The series revolves around the daily lives of two 23-year-old[4] friends – Mordecai (voiced by J. G. Quintel) and Rigby (William Salyers) – who work as groundskeepers at a park and spend their days avoiding work to entertain themselves by any means, which unexpectedly leads to surreal, extreme, and supernatural misconduct. This is much to the chagrin of their boss Benson (Sam Marin), a gumball machine, and their coworker Skips (Mark Hamill), an immortal yeti, but to the delight of Pops (Marin), the lollipop-shaped son of the park's owner, Mr. Maellard (David Ogden Stiers). Their other coworkers include an overweight green male nicknamed Muscle Man (real name Mitch Sorrenstein) (Marin) and a ghost named Hi-Five Ghost (Quintel), who occasionally serve as their rivals.

Requested grammar fixes
[edit]Existing sentence: "The series follows the daily lives of two 23-year old friends, Mordecai, a blue jay, and Rigby, a raccoon, who work at a local park as groundskeepers."
- Hyphenate "23-year-old" correctly (two hyphens).
- Use em dashes, to clarify that it isn't about two friends AND Mordecai AND Rigby, but rather Mordecai and Rigby ARE the two friends mentioned.
Thus rewrite as: "The series follows the daily lives of two 23-year-old friends — Mordecai, a blue jay, and Rigby, a raccoon — who work at a local park as groundskeepers."
favorite episode
[edit]I was curious whats everyone favorite episode of the series. Mine personally was the sandwich of death (season 2 episode 6). I loved this show so much, I can't wait to be able to watch the new series when it come out on HBO Max. Staticspector (talk) 03:01, 7 June 2026 (UTC)
