I left the following feedback for the creator/future reviewers while reviewing this article: Thanks for creating this article. A few minor points: synonyms are best placed in the lead and be careful that the categories are not too broad. I wonder also whether the literature supports a claim that this is primarily a functional, rather than anatomical, sphincter. Then again, with the rise of molecular biology, and a little attention paid to histology, perhaps that distinction is rather blurry!

PR 2 assignment

Hey zawad! Looking through your article a lot of it looked great, I think you may benefit from a few changes however. Instead of using phrases such as “this junction” every now and then, I think it may be better to use the full name or stick to using the abbreviation you used sporadically. Additionally, when talking about the different muscle layers, it may help condense the article if you mention them all in the same place. Overall great article though! PR 2 assignment

In the beginning i feel like you talk more about what the rectosigmoid junction isn't rather than what it is, i understand the comparison and the controversy over its classification but more could have been said about its function and role in the GI tract. I also feel like more clinical applications could be mentioned, maybe other diseases beside cancer. Other than that the information you did have was well cited and very informative and thorough.
