I've restored the 2005 Art LaPella's version of the article (removing redundant photo lens explanation) beause the last version was a REDIRECT to Cartesian coordinate system which contains NO occurences of the word 'rectilinear' -- not very useful to someone who wants to know what 'rectilinear' is. You should expand it beyond a dictionary definition or keep it as a redirect, though. It's not encyclopedic in its current state. Wikipedia is not a dictionary. —David Eppstein 19:11, 30 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
