- Yes, unless someone else finds an earlier mention. Schwede66 18:59, 6 April 2026 (UTC)

Hello @Launchballer!
Reviewing against the six GA criteria. I'm placing it on hold for a small set of fixes - one questionable source and a few prose/ENGVAR tidies.

Overall: |
What needs fixing
[edit]Coverage, neutrality, stability and images are fine; the hold is for these:
Reliable sources (2b/2c) - the one real blocker:
Centerfold Memories
(centerfoldmemories.com
, dead/archived) is a commercial centrefold-memorabilia site, not a reliable source. It's the only cite for two facts - that sheattended Roosevelt Elementary School in Santa Monica
andlater moved to
New York. Please source these to a reliable work, or attribute/remove them.
Prose / ENGVAR (1a) - all trivial:
Reagan attended Roosevelt Elementary School
→ "Wilson attended…" (MOS:SURNAME).
- I've gone with Reagan here because siblings and parents frequently share surnames.--Launchballer 06:27, 28 June 2026 (UTC)
- The article tags
{{Use American English}}, but the body still readscriticised
→ "criticized".
All three are of Norwegian descent and moved
→ the obituary says only that Wilson was "of partly Norwegian descent"; reword to "Wilson was of partly Norwegian descent…" (the "all three" siblings claim isn't in the source, and "are"→"was").
- I believe "partly Norwegian" to be unnecessary; you're either got Norwegian in you or you haven't. In the case of "all three", the source does not say "stepsiblings", so we can assume that they share both parents, which means they're going to descend from the same people. I think basic genetics come under WP:SKYISBLUE, so this shouldn't need an additional source.
Optional (not required): the curly apostrophe in Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In
→ straight (MOS:CURLY); the sentence listing the other Playmates whose centrefolds went to the Moon (Dorian/Myers/Bianchini) is mildly tangential - fine as context, trim only if you like; a sortable filmography table with years/roles would be a nice-to-have but isn't needed for GA.
- Fixed the apostrophe. (I'm allowed to copy the Telegraph's prose list of roles per WP:LIMITED, so I did; the fact that it's the only source for those and it doesn't come with years is why I haven't knocked up a table.) The other Playmates are borderline tangential, but I think they're just the right side of 'include'; will consider a footnote.--Launchballer 06:27, 28 June 2026 (UTC)
Images (6) - pass
[edit]File:Reagan Wilson Blood Mania.jpg
is on Commons, in the public domain (a Blood Mania TV spot), relevant, and suitably captioned ("Wilson in Blood Mania (1970)"). ✓
My checks
[edit]Right reliable works (the Telegraph obituary; Hilck's Lady Astronauts, Lady Engineers, and Naked Ladies, De Gruyter; Fishman's One Giant Leap; Buchanan; Winslow's Revolutionary Feminists, Duke UP). Earwig 0% - clean. Image licence confirmed PD on Commons; stability fine (the April ENGVAR dispute is dormant and concerned the {{Use American English}} tag, not content). Apollo-12 Playboy episode is well supported (Hilck p. 305 / Fishman p. 283) and verifies. Coverage (3) checks out against the fullest biographical source: the article addresses every aspect the Telegraph obituary covers and is broader than it on the protest and the Moon episode - short length here tracks the sources (WP:SIZE is not a GA criterion). Verification, neutrality, coverage, stability and images are all settled.
Result
[edit]On hold - near pass. Swap the Centerfold Memories source (or drop the two facts it carries), make the three small prose/ENGVAR fixes, and ping me.
Thanks!

- @ABehjat and Alexeyevitch: I believe I've addressed the above.--Launchballer 06:27, 28 June 2026 (UTC)
- @Launchballer, thanks! That resolves it. Cutting the Centerfold Memories source (and the two facts it carried) clears the one real blocker on criterion 2b, and "criticized" and the apostrophe are sorted.
- On the two you pushed back on, I'm satisfied: "Reagan" is a sensible way to disambiguate from the same-surname siblings, and your point that full siblings share descent is reasonable, so "all three" is fine as written. Neither was ever criterion-blocking.
- With the sourcing now solid, and coverage, neutrality, stability and the image are good, the article meets all six GA criteria. Passing. Nice work, and thanks for the nomination.
- @Alexeyevitch, let me know if it's all good with you.

@Launchballer: well-referenced, interesting hook, long enough, presentable article, etc. However, the article has been in "In The News" as a bold link within the last year (in April, for her death). Under WP:DYKNEW, articles in DYK cannot have been bold links in "In The News" within the last year. Therefore, this nomination cannot be approved. Jishara (talk) 15:01, 30 June 2026 (UTC)
- @Jishara: WP:DYKNEW says "Bolded names with dates listed at the bottom of OTD are not disqualified, nor are names listed in "Recent deaths" section of ITN." This was the latter.--Launchballer 17:09, 30 June 2026 (UTC)
Never mind, sorry, don't know how i missed that. Thanks for pointing it out, @Launchballer:. However, you still appearto be missing a QPQ (as you need 2). Let me know as soon as that's done and I'll approve this one. Jishara (talk) 17:21, 30 June 2026 (UTC)
- Apologies, I'd previously used it at Detour (Kim Petras album) before making it a multinom, and hadn't realised that I nominated that one before backlog mode. That's a triple I'm not getting back. I swapped Kalinina for Benjamin Hammar House, which is definitely a double.--Launchballer 17:32, 30 June 2026 (UTC)
