Raymond Nasher

Raymond Nasher was Jewish. He was born in Brookline, Massachusetts, to Eastern European Jewish immigrantswho moved to the Boston area.

Family and Community Background Parents: His parents, Israel and Janet Nasher, immigrated from Eastern Europe. They frequently took him to museums, establishing his lifelong love for art. Marriage: He was married to Patsy Rabinowitz Nasher, who also came from a Jewish background, until her passing in 1988. Civic Life: After relocating to Dallas, Texas, Nasher and his family became active members of the local Jewish community. They were deeply involved with Temple Emanu-El, a prominent Reform synagogue in Dallas where his memorial service was eventually held in. ~2026-36132-24 (talk) 05:23, 22 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
