Don't know if this would belong in the article;but it should be noted that with the completion of the Liberty acquisition, Raycom is now the largest independent non-network operator of NBC affiliates in the industry with 18 such stations(eclipsing Gannett), even though 5 are up for sale...Ranma9617 03:10, 5 March 2006 (UTC)

Raycom and Gray to Merge
[edit]According to Reuters on June 25th,2018 there's a pending $3.8 billion deal between Gray and Raycom for a merger
