About the creation of this article
[edit]I created this article because I believe the subject meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline, based on the significant coverage available in independent and reliable sources. The sources I used provide substantive and consistent coverage of the subject rather than merely brief or passing mentions.
I have tried to base the article on reliable sources, with the information being verifiable through the cited sources. I have also aimed to follow Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and no original research policy by presenting information from the sources rather than adding my own opinions or conclusions.
As the creator of the article, I welcome other editors to review it and point out anything that may need improvement, particularly regarding sourcing, neutrality, notability, or whether any claims need better attribution or additional citations. Contested deletion
[edit]This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance. The subject has received consistent and substantive coverage in independent and reliable media sources, and the article provides citations supporting its notability under Wikipedia's general notability guideline and meets Wikipedia.
The continued and consistent appearance of the subject in reliable media indicates that the coverage is not merely a single or isolated mention. Accordingly, the article has a reasonable basis for establishing notability and should not be removed through speedy deletion on the grounds of a lack of asserted importance.
Speedy deletion would also be premature where the subject's notability can be evaluated through the cited sources. Removing the article despite the available and continuing coverage of him about his activism could result in the article simply needing to be recreated later as additional coverage is published, creating unnecessary redundancy. The more appropriate course would be to retain the article and allow any concerns about sourcing, neutrality, or notability to be addressed through editing and improved.--Sandboxerr (talk) 21:16, 4 September 2026 (UTC)
