Rat Boy (musician) → Rat Boy – The musician is overwhelmingly the dominant Google hit for 'Rat Boy' - appears to me to be every single hit on the first ten pages. The previous Rat Boy article was on a Viz character, which seems to have been speedily deleted and merged with the List of Viz comic strips as non-notable. I'd have thought this move was pretty much uncontroversial, but an attempt to even edit the Rat Boy redirect to point to the disambiguation page rather than List of Viz comic strips was reverted, so raising it for further discussion. - In ictu oculi refers to the one from Byker Wall#Notable residents (not everyone's Google search would favor it). However, as we don't have an article about him, and he's only briefly mentioned in that article, I'll offer Weak support for the proposal, or at minimum a dab page between the musician, the Viz character and the thief. - There is a dab page at Ratboy (disambiguation) which (now I've added the thief) mentions them all as well as a few others - I did change Rat Boy to link there rather than the Viz character as what I thought would be an uncontroversial intermediate step, but that was subsequently reverted to the Viz character. Certainly Rat Boy pointing there would be a big improvement on the current situation. I think I'd stand by my position that the musician is the best primary topic, though, give that neither the thief nor the Viz character has an article, and the overwhelming domination of the musician in an ordinary Google search. - Yes, we're on the same page: at minimum, redirect Rat Boy to Ratboy (disambiguation), and I concur that the musician is probably the PTOPIC for that spelling.
And, since we're digging, I don't think that Ratboy,a 1986 American drama film [that] was both a critical and commercial failure

- Support. Clear primary topic among the only two subjects called Rat Boy with coverage on Wikipedia beyond a mere mention. Articles called Ratboy are distinct per WP:SMALLDETAILS, and few of them are especially notable either.--Cúchullain t/c 15:43, 6 September 2018 (UTC)

[edit]it is also his surname but later they confirmed rat boy name is for the band, not a solo artist. it is written in more websites. ~2026-18893-85 (talk) 22:43, 26 March 2026 (UTC)
