Velar is mid-size, not compact
[edit]Why is the Velar stated as being a compact luxury SUV? It's over 4.8m long, that's clearly in mid-size territory. MisterZed (talk) 02:03, 8 July 2026 (UTC)
Name
[edit]The car is called the Range Rover Velar. It is manufactured by Land Rover, but that is not part of its name (aside from being incorrect it is also redundant). Some agencies and websites require the manufacturer and the car name as separate items, and so they drop "Land Rover" as the manufacturer, but that does not mean it is correct nor make it its common name. See LaFerrari for an analogous situation. Or Cher or Sting. This incorrect information was added by a since blocked IP back in 2021. Mr.choppers | ✎ 13:53, 23 July 2026 (UTC)
