Rampur as a rump state?

Would it be correct to say that Rampur State was a rump state? That is, a state that is "the remnant of a once much larger state"? In this case, a remnant of the Kingdom of Rohilkhand due to the defeat of the Rohillas in the First Rohilla War? Ironborn392 (talk) 20:51, 13 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
