I have removed The Ring and TBRB rankings from the lead as being WP:UNDUE based on previous discussion at WP:BOXING. Please get consensus before reinstatement per WP:ONUS. Morbidthoughts (talk) 20:04, 5 May 2025 (UTC)

Majority, there's all kinds of sources that list Cardenas from 5'5 to 5'6 to 5'6. So for that reason sanctioning body is the most reliable. Songsten (talk) 01:55, 13 July 2025 (UTC)

First of all, there is nothing written in the MOS that gives priority of the sanctioning body as a source over anyone else. Second, I’ve seen no source at all list him at 5'6+ 1/2 what are you talking about. While I admit there are some that list him at 5'6, the fact remains that the majority of sources list him at 5'5. Yes they is no written MOS but when there is multiple sources then it's best to go with sanctioning body.

Yeah and your source of USATODAY is not reliable for boxing and WBA is the most corrupt sanctioning body. Neither is Tapology who had Cardenas at 5'6 when he fought Rodrigo Guerrero, before switching it. So that's why WBC is the most reliable. Songsten (talk) 02:31, 13 July 2025 (UTC)

And if that's the case then why does donaire's page say Showtime Championship Boxing tale of the tape Alexandro Santiago fight in 2023 per WP:BOXING/MOS, tale of the tape from recent fights may be better cited than BoxRec.
