Merging Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Center into this page

[edit]

Regarding merging Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Center into this page: I feel that the RVC, being an important publisher of seminal books like the Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna, merits its own article. There are hundreds of centers of the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, and probably dozens at least which might merit their own articles. Currently, the Vedanta Society of Southern California and Advaita Ashrama have their own articles. Devadaru (talk) 13:36, 7 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Yes I dont think its feasible to merge it. --Nvineeth (talk) 12:21, 8 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
I know this comment was from 2009, but for the record, there is a page for Vedanta Centers, which includes RVC, VSSC, and other Centers in the West: Vedanta_Society Ellis408 (talk) 17:18, 15 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Ramakrishna Math vs. Ramakrishna Order

[edit]

I ran across wiki articles: Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Order, both referring to the same organization. I intend to make it clear that the legal organization is the Ramakrishna Math, and the Ramakrishna Order designates the spiritual lineage of the monks of the Math.
