Temperate Forests

There was not much information rgearding the temperate forests. They list locations but do not specify what a temperate forest is and what kinds of organisms live there. I found a link to some basic information that could be put in under the Temperate Forests section.

Worldwide tropical rainforest climate zones map is wrong

The map on the wikipedia page doesn't include northern Australia as a tropical climate zone even though it possesses the oldest continual rainforest on earth. Canofcatfood (talk) 21:04, 4 December 2025 (UTC)

Request to fix the SOILS section

I have searched up a lot, but was not able to find any reliable sources.

For the first sentence I found this from Properties and Management of Soils in the Tropics" by Pedro A. Sanchez. Google AI also suggests "Soils of Tropical Forest Ecosystems: Characteristics, Ecology and Management" by Andreas Schulte and Daddy Ruhiyat and "Soil Biology in Tropical Ecosystems" by Tancredo Souza. request for cows, the largest cause of deforestation to be listed in that section

the deforestation section doesnt mention the impact of cattle ranchers on forests at all despite cattle ranching being the largest cause of deforestation can someone please fix that ~2025-42281-51 (talk) 01:38, 5 February 2026 (UTC)

The issue seems more complex then that. Can Cattle Ranching Contribute to Ecosystem Conservation? suggests that cattle and other herbivores
