"Basic operation of LIGO"
[edit]In the first paragraph: "He is best known for inventing the laser interferometric technique which is the basic operation of LIGO." I am a PhD student in the field and I am not sure what is meant by this, I think some clarification is needed. Perhaps something more specific would be 'the use of Fabry-Perot arm cavities in Michelson interferometers'? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jeffwack111 (talk • contribs) 21:17, 10 July 2026 (UTC)
