First, I don't think this article is particularly notable but I am not a deletionist (except for really pointless articles!) Second, the article states that the station is 24 hours owing to a Lottery Grant - but gives broadcasting times (i.e. not 24 hours). Er....?LessHeard vanU 21:46, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
- Radio Harrow is indeed 24hours. There are a number of shows during the day and evening, and music is played - together with show clips- outside of the shows. Each weekday there is an evening show called Harrow Today that is hosted by different groups of presenters bringing local information with a strong well-being theme. The mood of of the shows are upbeat and positive. The volunteers are a growing group of passionate and hard working people from many different backgrounds and age groups focussed on bringing the local community together 81.96.156.17 (talk) 07:10, 22 February 2025 (UTC)
Hi, while searching for articles to edit using Special:Random, I discovered this article, and I noticed that one of its sections, formerly named "Charitable objectives", didn't sound so neutral, so, I changed the section name. After I did that, I decided to read some of the other parts of the article, and I noticed a lot of material that didn't have inline citations nor sources, more specifically material that seemed considerably promotional, but since I don't have the time nor energy to change all of it, I felt like it should be discussed on the talk page.
The promotional content in question is scattered across the article, but here are a few examples:
- "..setup in 2010 to engage with those who live and work in the local community. It acted as a platform for the community to have a voice, which may not otherwise have been heard.."
- "..the new charitable objectives.."
- "..It also provides a voice for local residents and organisation groups to make a positive difference to the community they serve and help make it a friendly and enjoyable place to live.."
- (to a lesser extent) "..promoting health and wellbeing within the local community through its broadcasting.."
