Move?

[edit]

Shouldn't this article be renamed the A-Infos Radio Project? (Noaccountaccount (talk) 02:01, 5 September 2011 (UTC)).Reply

Yes. 117.18.231.6 (talk) 15:39, 21 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

It should probably have a link so that either lookup goes to this article. Altaphon (talk) 06:11, 31 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Yes, move is correct. -- 123.108.244.127 (talk) 13:35, 28 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

I don't think so, because as noted in other comments, it's known as radio4all and has had wider participation than a-infos for many years. Altaphon (talk) 01:05, 23 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Notability

[edit]

There was a proposal to delete the entry as non-notable; given that I personally know of a couple dozen producers who upload programs and many hundreds of stations and private listeners who download, it's a very significant effort in the community. It has indeed been going since 1996 and is not a web stream -- it was taking uploads and downloads long before there was streaming. Altaphon (talk) 06:16, 31 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

How many other web properties were established in 1996 and are still going in any form, never mind ones that have maintained their initial mission and done so funded entirely by donations? I would have thought that alone, never mind the fact that it may have been the first website allowing users to freely upload and download MP3s (do we know any earlier ones?) would have established notability beyond doubt. 117.18.231.41 (talk) 11:20, 31 March 2013 (UTC) Seems to be that someone has a gripe. Radio4All is a valuable resource for broadcasters worldwide and known as Radio4all. The name describes the concept and should be found in Wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.48.2.5 (talk) 04:48, 8 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

As of 2015, "the 1990s web is mostly dead", making this site, still going with its original purpose a notable rarity.[1] -- 123.108.244.127 (talk) 13:35, 28 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

As of 2025 it's still going. ~2026-60705-2 (talk) 02:09, 28 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
