This article does not suffer from any of the defects which would justify deletion or speedy deletion. It is about a notable subject, a documented pressure group inside the main third political party of the UK. That pressure group had for many years as its president Jo Grimond who was leader of the party and a major political figure in British politics in the 1950s and 1960s. The group anticipated the re-alignment of the left strategy adopted by Grimond and effectively served to keep the Liberals on a moderate, social liberal path when many on the right of the party were defecting to Conservatives through institutions like the Institute of Economic Affairs.
The article is not defamatory or whimsical. It does not fail to cite sources or references or point the reader to further reading. It does not breach copyright.
In short what is the problem?

[edit]I have deleted this section of the article because it does not seem to relate to the rest of the article and cites no references. Just because there is a group that uses the same name does not mean that information relating to it should be piggy backed onto this article. Perhaps this section belongs in another more relevant article. Graemp (talk) 04:30, 25 February 2015 (UTC)
