Photos of town before destruction

Are there none that could be inserted? I myself was in Rabaul back then but it did not occur to me that it was headed for volcanic destruction and I did not take a single photo. It was a splendid town and it is a great pity there are no illustrations. Masalai (talk) 11:33, 30 January 2012 (UTC)

Rainfall

Tunnels

There are enough reports out on the web with a plausible explanation that the tunnels were not dug by the Japanese Army (as this article claims) but by Allied POWs, particularly from their Changi prison in Singapore. Ash (talk) 12:20, 29 April 2012 (UTC)
