Lists of people
[edit]According to WP:NLIST in list of people each person needs to be notable, and a verifiable source should be given. For the list of people in this article, none of these was done. I am going to be moving them here soon, unless there is some objection. --Muhandes (talk) 11:04, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
- I went through and corrected all the grammatical errors in the page. Although it may need some rephrasing in places.P0PP4B34R732 (talk) 03:11, 16 October 2011 (UTC)

Proposed merge with History Of Rabari Samaj
[edit]History Of Rabari Samaj is a new article which duplicates the subject of Rabari. I don't simply redirect it because it contains additional (unfortunately unsourced) information which might be worth merging by someone familiar with the subject. —teb728 t c 06:30, 1 March 2016 (UTC)
- Nevermind: the other article was a copyright violation. —teb728 t c 07:53, 1 March 2016 (UTC)
Is Rabari the same as Baloch Jat?
[edit]The Jat (Jath of Balochistan) are also camel herders that had settled across Sindh, Kutch, and were most likely part of migrations north which make up part of Punjabi Jatt profile in Pakistan. Not unreasonable to assume that they could have also migrated into (or from) neighboring Rajasthan. Anyway any proof or connection? ~2026-39212-87 (talk) 18:19, 11 July 2026 (UTC)

Change the photographs in the "Rabari" article because the current images do not accurately represent traditional Rabari culture and attire. Please replace them with properly sourced photographs that depict authentic Rabari men and women in their traditional clothing from Gujarat and Rajasthan. If the current images are retained, please verify that they are correctly identified as Rabari. Sahil chelana (talk) 07:29, 15 July 2026 (UTC)
Not done for now: Wikipedia is limited in its use of images to ones that are properly licensed, meaning we can't just google "Rabari attire" and use whatever comes up. Even then, photographs are difficult to "source" since we're often forced to trust the photographer that the image is in fact what they say it is. I will say that the original uploaders of these images do assert that they are of Rabari people.
- The best way to improve images in articles is to take them yourself, upload them to Wikimedia Commons with a license allowing free use, and then add them (or request them to be added here). Barring that, we stick with what we have. DrOrinScrivello (talk) 18:08, 15 July 2026 (UTC)
