Wither 10P10C?

I'm intrigued by the fact that several vendors sell 10P10C modular connectors as "RJ48". Considering that RJ48 doesn't even use those connectors (never mind the fact that the RJ USOCs aren't names of physical connectors), I wonder how that happened.

It would help if I had even one example of what a 10P10C is used for. Maybe it's a version of RJ48 I don't know about, or something similar to RJ48? If you know of an example of 10P10C in use, please add it to this discussion.

Correct color code?

I was under the impression that RJ48 plugs are wired to TIA568B except on a crossover cable reversing pairs 1&2 instead of 2&3. I was unable to find a definitive answer on this, but I believe the pinout diagram on this page shows an incorrect color code. A cable wired in this manner would probably work for short distances, but would create crosstalk problems on longer runs since pairs 1 and 3 are split.
